Yes. Both use the DWG format. AutoCAD LT can open drawings that contain 3D objects, but it cannot create or edit 3D models.
Recent versions of AutoCAD LT run AutoLISP routines. Full AutoCAD also supports VBA, the AutoCAD APIs and third-party applications, which AutoCAD LT does not.
