Which software do most architects in India use?
AutoCAD remains the standard for drawings, Revit is the main BIM tool, and SketchUp is widely used for concept design and interiors. Enscape and V-Ray are the most common renderers alongside them.
Do I need Revit or is AutoCAD enough?
AutoCAD is enough for 2D drawings. Revit helps when you want drawings, schedules and views to update from one building model, or when a project requires BIM.
